To Friends of the Michigan Production Community:   Michigan’s production profile has never been higher – Hollywood-style production has arrived in a big way, thanks to our new film incentives. Combine this with our existing infrastructure of commercial, corporate, post-production, documentaries, independent films, animation, game development, live event and broadcast work, and it’s easy to see that we have a deeply-intrenched, truly world-class industry here. At the same time, the economy is brutalizing everyone – the production industry no less than anyone else. Thus it goes for all of us – change, adapt or die. So we’re changing things up a little. Here’s the bottom line: Michigan Vue is skipping the next issue (March-April) and moving straight ahead to the May-June issue. This gives us a little more lead time during the production process – and gives you time to polish up that new ad campaign and make sure we have your photos and PR. Michigan Vue continues to be an important, cohesive resource for promoting the local production industry.
